Casino
Casino is a town in the Northern Rivers, boasting an estimated population of 10,914 people at the 2016 census. Casino lies on the banks of the Richmond River and is situated at the junction of the Bruxner Highway and the Summerland Way. Known for it's Beef production, Casino has been named the Beef Capital and is home to The northern Co-Operative Meat Company who employ over 1000 people in our local area. It isnt all about beef though, on the outskirts of Casino sits the UNESCO world-heritage listed Richmond Range National Park. The picturesque town boasts a large number of opulent Art Deco and Colonial buildings.
